Waxwork Records is proud to announce the deluxe soundtrack reissue to the 1979 horror gem, Tourist Trap. For decades, the original 1979 pressing of Tourist Trap has become not only incredibly difficult to locate, but also prohibitively expensive. Due to this fact, Waxwork has poured themselves into tracking down the original masters, re-storing, re-mixing, and re-mastering for vinyl. Waxwork Records has created the most high quality release of Tourist Trap to date. This eerie soundtrack has never sounded better!
Tourist Trap kick started the mannequin horror film, and is still as creepy today as it was upon its initial 1979 release date. This horror movie is as spooky as they come. The score that accompanies it composed by the legendary Pino Donnagio (Carrie, The Howling, Body Double), is a riveting, masterful work of retro horror soundscapes. Harpsichords and breathing female vocals a-plenty.

Sony Legacy/RCA Victor 50th Anniversary Edition vinyl release of Henry Mancini’s original score to the 1963 comedy The Pink Panther.
This is a limited edition (of 3000) 12″ 180 gram pink colored vinyl release.
Release date: April 19, 2014 (to celebrate Record Store Day 2014).
Mancini’s indelible “Pink Panther Theme,” first heard in the archetypal ’60s crime caper comedy starring Peter Sellers and directed by Blake Edwards, is, in the current digital era, the #1 most-streamed song in the entire Sony Music catalog. The original Pink Panther soundtrack album was given a Grammy Hall of Fame Award in 2001 and is being expanded for a 2014 50th Anniversary Edition to include bonus material.

Music on Vinyl limited edition 180 gram audiophile vinyl release of German-American classic composer Franz Waxman’s original score to the 1935 film The Bride of Frankenstein.
Release date: October 22, 2013.
This is the first ever vinyl pressing of Franz Waxman’s film score to the classic horror movie.
First 1000 copies are numbered and printed on “slime green” vinyl.
The pressing comes with a printed movie poster.

Ever since the classic Horror movie genre was at its peak during the pre-WWII era, Mary Shelley’s The Bride Of Frankenstein (1935) starring Boris Karloff still remains the true cream of the crop. The black and white movie, directed by James Whale, is a prime example of how suspense meets great storytelling, the film’s thriller elements making it a benchmark for many film directors.
Its score was written by Franz Waxman, the legendary German-American classic composer with an impressive number of Academy Award Nominations movies to his name. Waxman wrote engaging soundtracks for classic films such as Rebecca (1940), Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde (1941), Sunset Boulevard (1950), The Nun’s Story (1959) and many more.
